If you are not familiar with energy work, you may be wondering what the benefits are and what my role is as an energy practitioner. While it can be difficult to understand unless you have experienced it, I will answer some common questions about what energy work is, the process of healing, and what can be expected during a session.
Basic Principles of Energy Work
Energy work recognizes that we are more than just physical beings—we are energetic in nature. Every part of us—our cells, organs, thoughts, and emotions—vibrates with energy. When this energy flows freely, you feel grounded, vibrant, and aligned. However, stress, trauma, and emotional pain can affect this flow, leading to physical issues, emotional challenges, or a sense of being stuck.
Energy work restores harmony by aligning your energy and activating your body’s natural healing abilities. By encouraging balance and flow, it supports your body’s innate capacity to return to a state of wellness and wholeness.

Healing is restoring balance and harmony to the body, mind and spirit. Every journey is unique, and healing will look differently for everyone. It is available to anyone, no matter where one is at on their journey.
The human body knows how to heal itself, and as an energy practitioner, I am the vessel to deliver energy and hold space for the body to heal itself. I do not do any healing myself.

Preparing for an energy work session is simple and requires no special effort. Come as you are, wearing comfortable clothing and arriving with an open mind—no prior experience or preparation is needed. During the session, you’ll lie down or sit comfortably while Amanda works with your energy. Focus on being present and relaxed, knowing there’s no way to do it wrong. If you have a specific concern—physical, emotional, or spiritual—you’re welcome to share it with Amanda or hold it as a private intention. Each session is unique, so trust the process, knowing your energy will respond in the way that’s right for you.

Everyone experiences energy differently. You may feel tingling, a surging of heat energy in different areas of the body, twitching, and/or rising of emotions. You may see flashes of color or images. Some people do not experience any sensations at all, and that is okay too. You are always in control of what happens during a session. Each session is a unique experience. Most find it peaceful and serene, and some clients may even drift off to sleep. This is okay; the energy goes where it is needed even while sleeping.

Sessions end gently ground you back to the present moment. I will share any insights from the session and allow for the discussion of anything that you experienced. It is important to drink water after a session and be gentle with yourself as your energetic body adjusts.
The body will integrate and raise its vibrational frequency, which facilitates healing of the mind and body. As a result, you may feel lighter, balanced, more relaxed, grounded, and feel a deeper connection to yourself and/or feelings of empowerment. This can lead to shifts within how you view your reality and consciously help you create a life of infinite wellness and joy. -
